hi
i am new to this forum and i dont know much about car audio systems. i live in india and i have bought a tata indica (in the small car segment). i wanted to know wether its ok to install a sony explode cd player and fit 4 blaupunkt speakers with them. would this mean reduced sound quality?
i am doing this because the sony explode systems cost less.

very few people use all the same brand infact usualy mixing and matching good components nets better sound quality then running all the same brand. some companies do good HU's some do good speakers, some do good amps, etc.
mixing the sony HU and the blaupunkt speakers well work fine. and wont reduce sound quality.

No problem there... they are compatible. Really, it boils down to what you can afford and what is available in your area. Yes, there are much better products/selections available here in the USA, Canada and Japan. But, your options may be limited in that part of the globe.

we are from all over most of us are from the united states. i would say 75% all over the states from coast to coast. qutie a few canadians i have seen. a few from the UK, and a few others from across europe. and i belive one or 2 from japan.. really quite a diverse board hehe.
welcome to the group though hopefully you well hang around and be part of a learning and teaching.
