I have a JBL 300.1 amp and I am looking to purchase either:
11" Focal 27KX which is 300rms and 600max
or
12" Boston Acoustics G2 300rms & 600max
Has anybody had any experience with either of these subs? I've heared them both and they both sound great, just can't decide on which on to go with.

i have never heard a BA sub but have heard the focals and they sound very nice. howvere both brands in my opinion are over priced. just my opinion though.

Actually I found the Focal sub for $39 more then an Alpie Type R. And the BA G2 is $179 USD so its around the same price in Canadian dollars. A Type R goes for about $275 - $299 (CND) here. Just wondering if it would be worth getting a far better brand of speaker compared to the usual stuff like Alpine.

I have a Boston G2 and i strongly recommend it. I had a type-r for the past two years or so and I like the boston a LOT more.
