I want to install two head units eg. a cassette player and an MP3 player in my car. Please send me tips regarding power supply wiring using relay so that one head unit will work at a time.

may i ask why? has you considered a combination Head unit? i have seen ones that have a CD/MP3 slot and a cassete slot. also a Tape deck with a cd changer even an in dash CD changer. both would be more cost effective and a bit eaier to install.

if you want to do both then it is possible. but its a bit complicated your on the right track though a relay and switch well be needed to switch between the decks you would not want power from both decks going to the speakers at once that would be bad.

i do belive though finding a combo HU or going with an indash CD changer would be more effective and way less complicated.

ttocs kittle and swez can probaly tell you more i'm sure they well respond tommarow.

Yes, there are several COMBO units out there to choose from. Pioneer makes a few. Blaupunkt, Awia, Alpine and several others too.

Another route is a combinined CD/MP3 with Aux input feature. These are smaller, easy to use and find. Check out Crutchfield for make/model #'s that offer that feature and then shop it hard off the net.
