what deck would you guys recommend for my work car, i want something plain and simple with basic features and looks, just dont want crap, would sony be a good choice here, i kinda want something with mp3 but not necessary, i dont wanna spend alot becuase the car is never locked and sometimes other ppl use it for work as well, not to worried bout it gettin stolen but i just dont wanna spend a ton, i could take my good pioneer out of my othercar but then i would worry bout it gettin taking....lookin to spend under 175 for quality deck with internal amp. thanx alot guys

Sony is OK... JVC, Sanyo, Awia, Panasonic all have a few nice products in that price range. Just check out Crutchfield for models and features you want and then go shopping for the best deal you can get on the models you like best.
Forget motorized face plates... these can be more trouble than they are worth. A simple detachable face panel is a good option if you want some degree of theft deterrant.
