ok well I have an eclipse sub and a kenwood exalon amp not sure if there is a wireing problem

but I can't get much sound out of it and what does come out isn't realy quality
any thoughts on that?

there could be a couple of things here. When you say that there is not much sound comming out of it, do you mean in general, or with the trunk shut? Alot of the high end import cars are built and sealed so well that they do not pass alot of sound into the interior. Does the bimmer still have the gas tank behind the back seat?

what are the gains on the amp set at? Do you know the model of the sub that you have? Or the impedence?
