hi everyone, i hope someone can help me here.....
i just bought a celica nnd it came with an alpine head unit which has a 3 disk in dash cd changer....
i loaded up the cartridge and it seems to cycle through all 3 cd's making the cd cartridge go in and out a few times and then i just get a message on the deck saying "E-02"
i think this is the moddle numbers..
cd changer: 5982
radio\cassete: bi level dual pre out 30W x4 7525
any help is greatly apriciated

i could locate the HU but not the cd changer.the error you mention isnt listed in common errors e-01 and e-04 are i suggest emailing alpine and they usualy respond withen 4 days.

Sounds like the reader lense cannot find the starting tracks on your CD's. Maybe just a good cleaning kit will help or the laser is out of alignment.
By all means, contact Alpine Tech Support and see what they can tell you.
