jvc makes good equipment. this isnt one of there high end HU's but if it has all the features you want then i would say it well work for you... i would be bslightly leary of motorized face plates they tend to stop working or get damaged easily... my wife had a sony and i had to take it apart and fix it several time because it would lock up if the parts that move it are out of alignment a little.

Well I've had an motorized Alpine that I've had for like 6months and its fine for now but I'll take the chance on this one. Ya Im putting it in myself. Its not the first radio i've installed in cars so I kno what im doing. But do you know an easy way or a site I can look at ttocs that shows how to take a 94 Cutlass dash apart. It took me and my friend awhile to do his so I wonder if theres an easier way.

sorry...

Is the factory radio already taken out? If so you may not need to take the dash apart. Let me see if I can find a pick of it.

Like that one? That is not too bad as long as you have the right screw driver....

Ya the factory is already out but i might have to get another kit for it because i think its the wrong one because its loose in the and when she hits a bump it makes the cd player skip. The dash looks the same so ya thats probably the right one.

Todays the day I'm gonna install it. I'll let you guys know how it goes

I will never install a stereo in that kind of car again. Theres no place to attach the radio harness to so its just hanging there so you have to put things under the radio to hold it up and it just takes a long time. but 4 hours later it looks good.
