i want to put a sub on my car stereo how can i do it? how can i install it?

More details please... HU type, amp, sub(s) you plan to use and location of the sub enclosure.

Some more info is needed here as moe and Swez have stated. What type of HU do you currently have?, what type of sound are you going for - Big and Boomy? or Punchy, Tight Bass?....and whats your budget on what you'll spend.
After we know these things we can help you completely and give some great options for you to work with.
