Replies (3) uochronos on 08/30/2004 02:06:55 sound likely to be a bad ground. i would check all grounds thourghly. swez on 08/30/2004 08:42:27 Could be a bad ground or amp is going into protect mode. Say more about amp & speaker make and model #'s. Also, If this amp is really 1600 watts, it can pull a huge amount of current from your electrical system. Assume this amp is connected to a #4 gage power cable. Make sure every electrical connection is tight, grounded to bare metal in car etc. What are the gain settings you are using on this amp now and the HU make/model #'s that powers the amp? Swez ttocs on 08/30/2004 11:23:41 what kind of amp, how is it wired? Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
