what effects would this have on my amp Replies (2) ttocs on 08/23/2004 16:35:25 um, huh? Give me a little more details.. The remote turn on is made for +12v... Anything more then 12v I would not recomend.... swez on 08/23/2004 17:40:45 True, but there is more than 12 volts on a REM line when a relay is used yes? It's the same voltage as the battery. (12.0 - 14.4) I have not read any documentation on people having troble with REM's on there amps off a relay circuit. This leads me to believe a typical amp REM circuit is either flexible with a degree of variation in REM voltage applied or a power filter (resistor network) that shunts excess voltage. When you mentioned high voltage, how high a voltage are we talking here? Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
