Hey guys (and gals maybe!!)

Im struggling to get to grips with the complexity that is going to be my next install.... Im having two subs, four 5" speakers, two tweeters, and two 6x9 speakers... I think Im going to be using two monow amps for the subs and one 6 chnl amp for the rest of the speakers... Is that a good idea?

Trouble is, is that I'm having real trouble working out how to wire it all up mainly because I also want to put in a second battery. Can anyone help me with some sort of wireing diagram?!?!? I would be sooooo grateful... Please send any responses to Ben_Bullen@ntlworld.com.

a second battery without upgrading the alternator will make the alt work even harder then it would have to with just one battery. If you are looking to make an upgrade to the electrical system, just get a better alt.. As for the two mono amps. I would recommend getting one big mono amp. When you get into making two subs play from differerent sources it can be hard to tune the sustem.

next question, why so many mids and highs? You would be better off spending the money on a good set of componants for the front, and maybe a coaxial for the rear. 8 speakers is a bit of overkill, and will make it really hard to tune the system. I am a big fan of the kiss theory, Keep It Simple Stupid.... not that I am calling you stupid...

I have 6 yrs install experience and can get you through the wiring, lets get you into the right product first.

What kind of car do you have? What kind of equipment do you have or plan to use?
