Why does Alpine even make F1 Status equipment? I wonder how many products out of that line they sell a year...
The PXA-H900 "multimedia manager" has a 68-band equalizer.
$3000 for the HU and $4000 for the multimedia manger. Arg.

i have heard of 4 people just in my town that have bought those products.... i perosnaly would love to hear a F1 system see what it can do.
if you think about it its probaly one of those special order things. not alot made unless they are ordered. so even if they only sale 1000pieces across the us which they probaly sell more then that. still making them some money.
alot of people well buy only a certain brand because they think its the best... for instance my friend buys all the most expensive kenwood equipment because his uncle is a kenwood dealer and swears by it.
how many people swear alpine is the best and suggest F1 equipment for compitition type systems.

you have to be an authorized dealer to get them, my shop is. There are alot of people out there that will HAVE to have the best, even if they don't know how to opporate it, or notice a difference. We have sold about a dozen.....

I would love to hear it also... I only buy Alpine because I remembered my father buying an Alpine head unit back in the early 90's.
I just think it's a waste of money to spend $7000 on the duo, plus speakers... just an opinion.

if i ever bought a ferrari or a 3000$ hu i would build a garage made of titanium with a locking system that would put fort knox to shame. to protect them first hehe.

It may be expensive, but the best is never cheap (unless its hot haha). I would love to put an F1 system in my truck....BUT..alas college , work, and SPL are my priorities. lol That and i dont have thousands of dollars laying around GRIN
