Are they any good? Do they live up to their RMS ratings? My friend told me they were AWSOME amps & they're cheap too... THINK

MA maxes some great products i would compare them to Rockfor fosgate because like rockford they make some really nice gear and some really low end gear. and alot inbetween...

i got to hear a set of top of the line MA 8" subs in a ported box with a ma 400watt amp and it sounded real nice for an SQ set up.

as for there RMS rating from my experience they live up to it on all the models i have seen the specs on. though i have not seen MA audio stuff in about a year or more. the only place that sold it here went out of buisness.

i couldnt get there site loaded but found some specs on another site for one of there amps it looked like a good amp for the price. and looked like it should live up to its RMS rating although i couldnt find a voltage it was tested at.

MA Audio is a fine product. They make very good amps, subs and probably good speakers too. They use a fair rating system for their gear too. You can trust what they publish on specs.

Their prices are also very competitive as compared to larger branded names like RF, MTX, Infinity and the like.

PS What do you have in mind? We can look em up for you if needed.

Thankyou, all for your help, I think I FINALLY am going to get that amp for my ALUM10Q ... unless... lol, jk.

This should make good with my Earthquake running my doors & rears at 250W/side RMS...( ?too much/over-kill?)

You have all been a great help, as usual.

not sure if we have mentioned this or you know already but running 500watts of amp for mids highs and 1200watts for bass thats going to be pulling well over 140amps when turned up. dont forget about upgrading alternator and battery or you well be in a pinch when your car dies on you because there is no more juice left./
