umm how did you have this crossed over? how is it you had the 6x9's getting a full range signal and the subwoofers just getting a bass signal.... if you did not have it properly crossed over then i could see some things going wrong..

also i dont know if amps are meant to run like this sounds like there was 2 differnt loads on each of the channels like a 8 ohm load on one channel and a 4 ohm load on the other channel. i have never seen this done on a 2 channel amp. this may have been what cuased damage here,.

also are you sure you ran them in series? if they where run in parrelel then you may have gone below 2 ohms on one of the channels and this could be the problem.

i dont know what else to tell you at the moment i hope this gets you started

PS Breeze... chill out man! We all know how frustrating this task can be. Sure... we all mutter a few well choosen words when things go south. But please.... vent it out of your system before you post. Then we can really help you out of a jam. Cool heads prevail.

i think he either fixed the problem or left unfortunatly.... seemed very frustrating of a problem... hopefully he comes back calm and we can help here i'm sure someone here has seen a similar problem.
