Prev :: Next Replies (3) uochronos on 08/6/2004 16:36:47 umm how did you have this crossed over? how is it you had the 6x9's getting a full range signal and the subwoofers just getting a bass signal.... if you did not have it properly crossed over then i could see some things going wrong.. also i dont know if amps are meant to run like this sounds like there was 2 differnt loads on each of the channels like a 8 ohm load on one channel and a 4 ohm load on the other channel. i have never seen this done on a 2 channel amp. this may have been what cuased damage here,. also are you sure you ran them in series? if they where run in parrelel then you may have gone below 2 ohms on one of the channels and this could be the problem. i dont know what else to tell you at the moment i hope this gets you started ~Chronos PS we try to run a PG forum so please try to hold back on the cussing we usualy get the point without any of it needed:) swez on 08/6/2004 18:10:28 What was the rest of his post like?
