So... I though bird poop was on my trunk, and today I remember that the rear of my car was facing my cousin who was using cement the other day. Last night I washed my car, and not realizing that it was cement... I got tiny scratches all over my trunk. Anybody know what can make them disappear? FROWN Replies (5) uochronos on 08/5/2004 16:56:12 if the car is white, yellow, light blue, or just about any other light color then you can get some touch up paint from the dealer then about a week after yuopu touch it up buff and wax it. howeever is its red, black, dark blue, etc. then thouch up [pa9it wont look right becxause the original color well have faded and you well end up with darker spots all over the car. in this cas the best thing to do is boff it out and then wax it this well get rid of alot of the tiny ones. there are also many products that claim they cover scratches up i'm always a bit lear of these because alot of them just cause the near by paiubnt to run into the cracks which does damage longt term.. i suggest going to a near by auto parts place and looking., or also if you know anyone in the body work industry ask them for some pointers. aposynthesi on 08/5/2004 18:12:05 I waxed it after I posted this and they came out... somewhat. There are still little dots of cement on the car which are refusing to come off. I'll probably end up getting it painted some day... or just get a new(er) car. swez on 08/5/2004 21:29:41 Some rubbing compounds can do a very good job at this... but cement is very hard to get off a painted surface. Use a meduim grade cleaner and a soft sponge with penty of water. Good luck, Swez aposynthesi on 08/6/2004 20:38:13 Wax is cool.
