Hello everyone, My wife drives a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT with the factory 6-disc CD changer. The system worked fine until yesterday. I went to eject the CD magazine from the changer, which is located in the arm consule between the seats, and it won't come out. When I hit the eject button, I can hear the motor trying to eject the magazine but it does not come out. Also, when I hit CD on the head unit, it says there are no discs in the CD changer and it goes back to the radio. Anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any tips on getting the magazine out of the changer? Thanks in advance for your help, Loren Replies (1) ttocs on 08/2/2004 17:04:44 it sounds like the changer/deck is confused and locked up. Look on the front for a small pin hole, if you see one there should be a reset button on the back. If you don't see anything there then try disconnecting pwr to the chngr by disconnecting the cable.
