How easy are class t amps to fix?

OK, I have 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1 subs (up to 350 wrms each), with an avionixx AXT 800.4 4 channel amp that, when bridged into 2 channels, puts out 400 wrms per channel at 4 ohms.

My problem is that I don't get any sound from one of the subs anymore when the amp is bridged, but when I hook it up to just one of the channels it's fine, but not the other (out of the 2 that where being bridged for that sub).

The other two channels that are being bridged work fine, but I don't want to have one sub getting 400 wrms and the other getting only 125, so the only way to even them out is to hook them both up to only one channel each, giving them only 125wrms each :(

They sounded sooooo much better when they were getting 400w.

I'm thinking about taking the amp to a shop to get it fixed since I've never been inside an amp and I don't trust my skills.

Does anyone know if it's easy to troubleshoot and fix, or should I just have a pro do it?

Thanks in advance,
Alan

it is usualy easy to see if its a capasitor or some simlar large component that blew but removing it and puting in another one can be tricky and if you mess up can permanantly damage the amp.

call avionixx and see what they say. from what i have heard even if its out of warranty avionixx well fix it pretty reasonably

Agreed... best left to a Pro. It could be power supply related or power output transistors are toast. Best to have Avionixx do the work.
