Am wondering if there is a way to insert an auto log in feature to the regulars on the site... not just Golds... but all who come on a regular basis. THINK I find it cumbersome to go through the log in menus, just to get to the main board.
My other board, is just that... hit the link and it automatically ID's the user and logs them in automatically... right to the main menus of board. IDEA
Is that feature possible on this site configuration? If yes, would love to skip the log in steps etc. COFFEE & CLAP

I agree, it would be nice to just come to the site and be at the main board already logged in.
BTW, i am happy you stuck with the board layout Walt.
It's different than the other boards i visit and show's you what going on right now instead of having to search the whole thing for new topics like boards that use Invisionboard and scripts like that.

Well, We have been trying to stay away from Client Side Cookies but I guess we can give you the choice. Will work on it..

It would be nice if this is possible... but it it becomes too labor intensive, don't feel obligated... just asking if this makes sense to the back room functions on this board format.

Its actually not hard to add CSC I personally dont use them on my forums for security reasons and not everyone uses the same computers all the time. It also lowers the number of people who like to misuse the forums. People who like to be rude most likely wont go through the trouble and take their trouble elsewhere.

Swez, I don't want you to feel I don't understabd the pain in the butt it is to log in and such.. For the site as a whole I would prefer leaving it as is but for you we will email you a secret login link that you should always click on from the email I will send ya in a few days or less..

If this is a speacial deal or creates more work on your end... no need to further the steps. I just asked if it would be easy and not a "special deal" for you to configure.
I have no real heartburn over the log in process... just a bit cumbersome... but I can live with things as is....
Please, use your time in other parts of of the site... not just to suit my preferences.
