what's up fellas,
well, i tried something i had never done before today at work, and i turned out loving it and will probably do it from now on. when installing an amp, i wrapped all of the wires in electrical tape about every 12 - 18 inches along the length of the wires, and it made them much easier to run, and it also looked much nicer. i'm sure other people do this now, but for those that don't, i strongly recommend it. just thought i'd share.

Yup i do something similar...i use the little mini zip ties GRIN looks nice also and makes running wires easier to run like you said. Electrical Tap is more cost efficient than buying the zip ties but the zips are cheap also =)

zippie ties are the handiest. is there anything they can't do??

yea zippie ties can't open after they close.. a well known fact..

how have you been doing it? Tape is nice as it does not raise up, making it easy when needing to pull in through places, such as the back seat.

very true. i usually use zippy ties to make the wires look pretty at the amp, and when running rcas and remote under the dash, to name a few things. their uses are unlimited. however, i like tape when running the wires because it's fast and clean and i can run through very quickly.
