I bought this deck last year in April and I love this HU it's got everything I need. Unfortunetly last week it stopped reading my cd's. I tried cleaning the lens but nothing. I used a cd cleaner but nothing. Everything else works perfect but that. I also cannot find where I can purchase parts for it does anyone know? I got the part number. I called Panasonic but they won't sell me the part they want me to take it somewhere. It's useless I got an electronic degree and know what to change I just need the part of someone knows where to order that part I'll defenetly would apreciate it. Part#-Y22D04E4 It's the cd unit only unless someone is familiar with this problem let me know but i just need the part. Thank You

Can you try ordering that part number from a Panasonic authorized repair service like BB or CC? They may be willing to order it for you and then you can install it?

have you loooked on ebay for that model of head unit, maybe somebody has one cheap or has on that quit working, can find out what is wrong with it and if its not the same problem as yours then you maybe able to buy the bad head unit for cheap. good luck
