Greetings
I Installed and have subwoofer sound but no front quad sound.
Have preamp on the sub but not on front cab speakers.
I have a 6 volt steady signal out (means pioneer amplifier is good but no audio output signal).
I thought I got the wiring right ... maybe I'm missing a configuration in the unit.
Any ideas ----------- thanks
Andres

alright man what do you mean by front quad?>"I Installed and have subwoofer sound but no front quad sound."<

and are you running a amp on the front cab speakers?>"Have preamp on the sub but not on front cab speakers.< otherwise why would you need preout on the cab speakers.

and do you mean you get power but not sound by this>"I have a 6 volt steady signal out (means pioneer amplifier is good but no audio output signal)."<

and did you check your fades im not trying to be a smart a** just checkin

Hey there
got 4 standard speakers up front.
no seperate amp to the front - they are driven by the stereo unit.

I get power but not sound (6 volts from speaker lead to ground).

I did check the mode adjustments (fade between cab speakers and between sub and front speakers). I'll be checking these again

thought I might be missing something that enables the front speakers.

thanks for checkin in

unless you have an amp connected to them[through preouts and amp] all the front speakers have to do is be hooked up to your radio to play

do u get sound through the subs and rear speakers if so the unit might be damaged. or the speakers might did u try hooking a different speaker to the front speaker outputs[radios amp]

Oh Well

The subs do work, the speakers don't. I just tried another loose speaker from my garage with no luck (knew there was a reason I don't throw sh** out).

It's a simple hookup - so I tested the speaker line voltage and confirmed that the stereo (amp) is not dead ... but an audio output makes the voltage fluxuate (and it doesn't)

I can't find any more settings to fool with - I may be out of options

thanks for scratching your head with me, trying to conserve my hair
Andres
