i have a chance to get these for 165 shipped and was wondering how they sounded. if anyone has heard or know someone who has them please post on how they sound and such.

I have these exact speaker and am giving them 125watts RMS and they are amazing they blow my friends similar focals away.... i'am extremly impressed and satisfied with my speaker. i would definatly suggest them for 165$

biggest determiner here is what you are going to run them off one is 125rms the other is like 90rms... not much of a sound differnce infact basicaly not noticable but if you have a 70-100watt amp then go with the cl-62 if you have a 110-140watt amp go with the EF-61CF also may consider looks if you can see the speakers the CF(carbon fiber) series does look very cool...

the EF series is a higher sieries speaker i would assume it has higher capibilities... but the sound differnce between the CL and the EF is going to be fairly similar..... i honestly dont think that the sound quality well differ much... a 4 channel 125watt amp well pull a significant amount more current then a 75watt 4 channel amp. so if you have a significant sized sub amp already and dont wish to upgrade the alternator i would suggest getting the speakers that handle slightly less... if you are after every last little drop of SQ then the EF series may be fore you... i personaly only got them over the CL series because of looks and i already had a 125watt X 2 channel amp to run them.
