hey i have a 91 geo metro and it doesnt come with any speakers in the back. Its a hatchback and there is nowhere to put the tweeters. any ideas on where i can put them or any other ideas?

with a car that small you dont really need rear speakers... a nice set of compoents up from would do the trick... as far as where to mount them i have no idea my wifes Geo Storm was enough of a head ache for me:) ttocs or kittle well most likely have done one and can give you a bit of an idea where you can mount them for best sound and simplicity

It has been a long time since I have been in a metro to remember where they can go. Check out sounddomain.com's members pages and I am sure you can get some ideas. Otherwise you can always try a surface mount speaker....

not adding any info on this, was just deleting some of the posts. for some reason. ttocs's reply duplicated itself like 4 or 5 times. just figured id clean it up alittle. on the metro. have you taken the door panel off yet. should be somewhere for the speakers to mount. and as far as the tweets go. many component speakers have a removable pillar that you can place the tweeter on or you can just mount it elsewhere. as ttocs said can always surface mount the tweets somewhere around the dash or the windshield pillar to give beter sound direction,. just make sure to tape the tweets and listen to them first. you dont want to be making a million holes in your car tryin to ge tthe tweets in the right spot. good luck. i would also scratch the 6x9s in the rear and just go with a good set of 6.5s in the front will give plent of music for you.
wow that was wierd. i made the post and then it duplicated mine 5 times, something about an internal error came up. hey walt do you know why that may have occured. just really stange. havent had it happen before
