im wondering how im going to run my two new amps(PG QX 500.1,PG QX300.4).i cant imagine that my battery will be sufficient on its own for both of these.the 500 will be connected to 1 of my 12" subs and i was going to bridge the other and run my 2 audiobahns of it....suggestions welcome! If you have a small vehicle and a modest ALT... (<85A) output, this install will have major effect on your electricals. Yes, a larger battery will help with buffering current demand from the amps, but you may find the need for a larger ALT as well. In the mean time, install what you have... #4 gage power feed line and 80A inline fuse back to a distribution block and use a pair of #8 gage wires off D-block to amps and #8 grounds to bare metal connection. Swez davedfish on 07/7/2004 13:36:40 ive bought a #4 gauge installation kit over the net already(should arrive soon)just have to locate a distribution block in town somewhere.thanks Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
