Mini-Nightmare. Hoping somebody can help me out here. Trying to replace speakers in my mini-van. For some reason I thought the rear speakers would be easiest? NOT...There is molding everywhere. After about a half hour of sweating my preverbial boo-tay off (which would be a feat in it's own right) in this Florida heat, I thought I'd met my match and decided the front door speakers had to be easier than this...2 screws and a couple of molded panels later and the door panel still wont come off. Can anybody save me from this frustration? Replies (1) ttocs on 07/4/2004 12:04:17 i don't have a plan for your specific van, but I never do for any car I work on. Look around the handle first, there is always at least a screw, if not 2 there. Next look around the outside edges of the door panel for more screws. Sometimes they hide them under carpeted sections, run your hands over them feeling for holes. if there are pwr window or locks normally the panel will come off, sometimes screws under there as well. If you think you have them all, genty pull on the bottom corner and the panel should start to pop off. If it is sticking somewhere then try to see what is holding it. Work your way around the outside edges until the panel comes off. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
