Hi all,
I am a rookie at all this and am not looking for much performance, just want to replace my old tape deck that broke with a new CD player. I am installing a pioneer deh-1600. The wiring hookup to the back of my factory tape deck does not fit into this new stereo. Do I need to cut the old connector off and attach wires to the hookup that came with my new stereo, or is there some sort of connector i could buy that would make the old one fit into the new? Please help.

you need to pick up a wiring harness adapter from like walmart or other car audio places have them
