there are lots of options, too many to list really. check out sounddomain.com and you can see what others have done.

I mean just like what the best subs would be for it because they have to be a smaller depth like highly under 6 inches and how much power it could handle

There are very few subs out there that are that shallow in 10's and 12" subs. If there is a vent hole in the magnet, allow at least 1" for that as well.

You may wish to look at a couple of high powered 8" subs for the Ranger. Those have very little room behind a bench seat if you are tall.

Also, Kole Audio makes a very shallow mounting sub. Looks kinda cool and very different from other subs. This is a slim line sub. Kole is part of SPL Inc, and a sister company to Power Acoustik.

Look: KOLE MFW Series

1. 2KOL-MFW10 TWO KOLE SUBWOOFERS $194.99/pr.
2. 2KOL-MFW12 TWO KOLE SUBWOOFERS $229.99/pr.

I'm talking about my f150 now, if I get the ranger size doesnt matter cuz ill fill up the whole box in back

your not going to get great sound using the bed of your truck... unless all you car about is spl.... seen a couple people do it and it always sounded very muddy... and easily stolen...

as for the f150 not much well fit it has to be under 5 inches with box if i'm thining the right seats to fit under that.... very tight fit would have to be 8's or extremly shalow 10's

btw if you are looking into a ranger think about an extended cab.. i was reading about a guy that built a 7 cubic foot box taking up all the room behind the seats in an extended cab ranger and put in 2 compitition subs in it thats 3.5 foot per sub and was hiting 150-160db with 2400watts...

btw i'm sorry i was thining your f-150 was an extended cab hince saying only 5 inches under seats for subs i was thinking of rear seats... there should be a decent amount of room between the seats and the back in a f-150... cheek out subs mentioned by swez or elemental designs both are shallow subs that handle good amounts of power.
