i have 2 kicker compvr 18" woofers in a 18"h,12"L,43"W box that i am trying to tune i have a few complexities and questions though because my box and speakers are in the trunk but I want my ports to come through my back dash would this affect woofer control and/or power handling i am a young {14} audio enthusiast and i am trying to compete on the db circuit. any help with these questions or the port legnth i should use would be greatly appriciated. p.s. ports are 4"in diameter.

Wouldn't make that big of a difference, but might change the sound a little. those comp vrs are pretty decent. I heard a car with 16 12 inch ones and it hit like 154 so depends, what kinda watts you running there?
