I just bought 2 10" Alpine E's, and they had 12" should i have gotten those, or are the 10" better then the 12", cause i've heard 10" hit better, the 10" i got are 600 watt. peak power.

that would depend on what you are wanting out of the speakers. If they are the same brand they will be no better and no worse but will sound different.

Which one would you prefer, all i'm looking for is good clean, loud bass

Using 400-500 watts RMS of amping power, these subs should do well for such a low cost.

No, you won't blow out your windows with excess SPL here, but should get some nice, solid bass from a pair of SWE-1041's.

If you like punchy, tight bass lines, use a small sealed enclosure of say 0.60 cf/sub. If you like boomy bass like in Rap or long drawn out bass in Country music, head for a larger enclosure of 1.0 - 1.25 cf.

A nice blend and all around solid performer enclosure that will do both types of music well, shoot for the middle.. 0.75 - 0.85 cf/sub.
