Well,I got my S.U.V.!! I purchased a 94'Honda Passport LX 4x4.It's white with a tannish interior.Well,if any of you know about Passport's.They take a 4"speaker in the front dash(facing toward's the driver & passenger). And a 5 1/4" in the rear speaker pod's.I'am not having any problems with deciding what 5 1/4's to use. But,I'am having problems with the 4" speakers. My mids & highs amplifier is a 75Wx4@4ohms stereo. And as you already know. That I'll be adding subwoofers and a subwoofer amplifier.I'am needing some real clean, power handling 4" speakers. Some that'll handle up to at least 100-130Watts peak. Replies (4) uochronos on 06/22/2004 02:03:00 CDT makes some fine 4" components i would suggest these. or similar components. i have never heard a set of "good" 4" coaxils they all sounded muddy or shrill too me. swez on 06/22/2004 08:28:24 If you go with main line brands like Alpine, Infinity, Polk, Focal or CDT and the like, should be fine. Just remember these 4" drivers will not take much bass power. They will have to to be filtered high enough to make them crisp and clear, but not flop out on you because of too much bass. (probably 150 Hz or a bit higher) CDT would be a very good choice as you can use the remote tweeter with attenuation pad to raise the front stage presents up toward the windshield. Comps are a very good choice here, but a bit higher cost. Coaxials are an option... but look for models that have swivel type, adjustable tweeters. Swez Bassmafia on 06/22/2004 12:46:40 Okay,I'am look into the CDT's ,Crystal, and Rockford Fosgate 4"components.Thanks alot guy's. Clint swez on 06/22/2004 19:13:19 Oh.... BTW Clint...
