Well for those who are following the sub installation on my son's Civic is done. It went in like a dream. Not a bit of a problem. He did most of the work and has the two Audiobahn amps mounted on the top of the box with the four distribution blocks on the back and all the wiring between the box and the seat backs in the trunk. I helped mostly with planning this time and did the actul mounting of the two Infinity 12i's. After a little tweaking and playing with the head settings it sounds great.
Now the next chapter. As I suspected at anything over very loud (and he likes it over very loud) he is getting some headlight dimming on bass transients. We were pretty sure this was going to be the case. So I guess from what Swez said before the first thing to do is look into a new battery with a higher CCA rating. We've got a line on some and I'll report back how it goes.
