alrite well i have a s10 with topper and everything is shaved, the topper onto the box, the box to the cab, tailgate, bumper, doorhandles just about everything i could think of. its lowered about 2 inches and has some cadillac taillights. i have this ready to become a bass mobile. right now i don't have ANY funds to spend but what i do have isn't quite working right. i have a jvc kd-g300 deck with a pair of kenwood 6 by 9s. i have only one sub in the back which is a freinds mtx thunder 6000 running off of a sony 400 watt amp which is also my freinds. my dash was all in peices up till recently when i put my factory speakers back in and connected them to my deck, my problem is that when i fade my speakers to the front even a little bit my sub fades down also. i'm not sure if this is normal or what but i would like to be able to have most at least some of my sound up front but still have the bass in the back. is there any way to change this so that i could? Replies (5) shaveds10 on 06/17/2004 11:21:04 anyone have some suggestions? ryan on 06/17/2004 12:39:38 Dont worry this is normal. How many RCA outputs do you have ( Front, Rear, Sub) on this deck? shaveds10 on 06/17/2004 20:55:07 i have 2 jacks on the back of my deck though i'm not sure how this would affect the fading of my sub pmpn8ez on 06/17/2004 21:47:11 Shaved: This affects the fading of your subs beacuase in your case you have 2 outputs...most likely a front and rear. If you have your amp connected into the rear out put, as you fade your deck to the front...your signal fades away from the rear, thereby fading the sub down. Why are you needing to fade it to the front if you only have one set of 6X9's? If you are needing to fade to the front I'd recommend exchanging your RCA's to the front outputs so your signal stays full to the subs. ttocs on 06/18/2004 05:59:51 some new decks have an option to set the rear outputs to non-fading to fix this. Check your manual and see if this is an option. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
