Hey... Detroit has something to put it back on the map again... The Pistons went all the way in 5 games against the LA Lakers.
Excellent hustle, hitting the boards hard for rebounds and making clutch shots put them on the top of this years NBA totem pole.
Not that I am a great sports fan mind you... but we have not had a major winning team since the Red Wings nabbed the Stanley Cup a few years back. There's always next year though.
As for the Tigers and Lions... hard to say what will happen with the Tigers this year. The Lions have been pussy cats for so long... I forgot the last time they were in contention. We don't see that changing anytime soon. Need to buy some 1st rate players and get a few new coaches too. Management is always at its' wits end to make winner out of low rent players.
Anyway, congrats Detroit Pistons on a great season and coming through down the playoff stretch. Well done men! USFLAG CLAP

PS It was mahem here in Detroit last night.... but at least folks did not burn down the town like on Devil's night... go figure. Do other larger cities have that game in the Fall? Dunno???

I've only heard of such a thing in Detroit - Devil's night that is. The bad group in The Crow was based on doing those fires.
Red Wings is my favorite team in the NHL... don't care for any other sports except for hockey though.

"The Crow"... hummmm seems to me there were 2 of that series and as I recall... both movies rambled on forever with no real plot in either.
A friend of mine, brought them over to watch one night and to tell the truth... I should have sent her home with the movies and went to bed early instead of watching them. hehe
