Question before my next project...

What tool(s) would I create a perfect circle like this?

What would you do to produce something like that for a speaker such as 5x7, or 6x9?

I recently got a pair of Boston Acoustics NX67 (6.5") speakers and would like to put them up front, though there is no place for them, meaning I would have to modify my door panel somehow. Would these speakers outperform Alpine Type-S 5x7's?

What methods would you use to enclose the speaker fully and finish the project cosmetically? I've seen some people use fiberglass, some just do body filler, and some where I have no idea what they've done...

Carpet (stretchy carpet?), grille cloth, body filler (brand?), fiberglass, vinyl, etc... any products that you use.

for a perfect circle i love my rotozip it cuts a perfect circle in wood in about a minute... takes a bit longer in harder matierials. for odd shaped holes 5x7, 6x8, 6x9, etc. i use either a hand saw or a skill saw takes awhile but its the best i have found to do it.

most good 6.5's well outn perform 6x8's or 5x7's they just reproduce sound better.

as for finishes i personlay like fiberglass it can be used for almost anything and is extremly strong. its a bit hard to work with at first but with a bit of practise it well become easier to use. at www.alpine-usa.com under demo cars they show how they built there demo cars step by step and alot of good fiberglass and customizing tips. for free. hope that helps
