i think i have narrowed my choieces down to 2 setups...4 8" resonant engineering RE woofers in a ported box. Or 2 adire audio 10" koda woofers in a sealed box. What would have better low end and sound better. also play louder?

another idea i had was to RE 10" SE subs in a ported box....probly what i will end up going with...what do you think

not familiar with either in personal experience. but i have to say the 4-8s will probably be louder and deeper due to cone size and ported enclosure. have you thought about maybe 2 12s in a ported box, will probably be louder and more responsive in the lower freqs than the 8s. sure swez or ttocs will have something to say about this good luck

ive thought about 2 12's ported...but the problem is space....its going in a 93 single cab chevy

i see, but how are you gonna get 4 8in ported enclosures in there. that gonna be about 2,5 to 3.0 cubic feet right, if you have room for 3 cubic feet you could do 1.5 to both 12s. depth might be a problem but box can always be really tall or really long, just as long as it meets the space requirements, good luck
