1989 GRAND MARQUIS LS w/Premium Sound System and Factory AMP [AMP mounted in the trunk on the back of the seat] I just was thinking that inside the radio's circuit, there must be some connection between the two connectors (Gray and Black) that connect + power to the Amp via {ACC switch}. So by installing the 2 Connectors back into the factory radio, you would supply a new troubleshooting source. Then check for the new + reading at the 2 housings on the Factory AMP, that would turn it on and create current for the + Speaker wires. If I can now supply source from inside the car, that would be at the radio with a simple Cut & Splice on of wires. Then I can still use the Factory AMP for those speakers if I wanted to. ?? I think I want to try it - What do your think?? Replies (0) Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
