throw it away or sell it, you won't ever need wire that big. and you don't need that kind of weight in your car 4/0 wire is over 3" in diameter, there is no way you can hid this, and it will be a pain in the butt to run.
Not only that, it is probably aluminum or thick strand copper. Use a good name brand 1/0 wire (stinger) and you will never have any problems, and you will never need anything else.

That's some pretty hefty wire there pn8ez. And as Kit said... a real booger to install and obtain termination hardware for. Infact, you may have to make your own as I have never seen hardware for that gage wire.

Is this fine braided copper wire or thick strands of copper or aluminum that is used in house electrical feed in lines? I have installed 2/0 (2 hots, 1 Neutral and 1 ground) feeder wire from outside meter to in house fuse panels. This stuff is a bear to bend, strip and finagle into the distibution rails in the fuse and meter panels.

Copper is not too bad if like welding cable and very flexible. But if heavy strand copper or worse yet... aluminum, coil it up and use it as a drag line or tow rope in your boat. :-)
