Hey guys, we seem to be getting a large number of new HU installs where the wiring is done wrong and problems come up shortly after.
Would sombody mind writing a detailed (step by step) guide for our FAQ section on how to wire in a new aftermarket HU's?

hm, suprised we have not already........ I am not going to have alot of time until friday but I could probably squeeze it in then if someone else has not. So much to cover though, premuim sound systems, dimmers and now multiplexing other systems into the deck on the new cars....... With the variation that exists it will be a long article..........

Well, you are probably the most experienced in these matters and probably the best guy to start the process.
If you only have limited amounts of time for this project now, just make a few files in your word processor, start with what comes to mind and add to it as you have time and inclination to do so.
When finished, break it up into sub topics or categories and paste them into the FAQ's/DIY articles section of the forum. If it takes a month... so be it! That would be great to have this tool in our forum. Would save a lot of time re-explaining everything each time someone new comes into the game with an issue. Hummm, imagine this... "My HU is going screwy... what to do?" Reply: SEE FAQ LINK ....... FOR DETAILS.
