I don't know if batteries have been discussed before... but would Alpine Type-R stock replacement speakers and a 200W JVC headunit require another/specific battery?
I seem to be running low on power after the install, though I don't know how old/good the battery is.

a JVC hu and type r speakers should not require a battery upgrade. however the battery or alternator may be bad in this case you would need a replacment most shops autozone, napa, pep boys all can test your charging system for you.

you will be fine with that. You have nothing to worry about till you start adding external amps.
