Hey i'm kinda new to the whole audio part of modding cars, so i was wondering if there was anywhere i could get some wiring basics, schematics, etc.? Also, anything i should know before playing around with head units, amps, speakers, etc. would be helpful.

There's help available here on most subjects related to car audio. Schematics and drawings can be had via links to some additional web resources we use here frequently. Do you have a general idea what you wish to do first. We can take you through most uninstall and install processes before you get there.
If you're handy, have a few basic tools (or get them) and desire to save yourself a goodly sum of cash... came to the right place.

PS Try reading a few of the DIY articles and such. That will help you get a toe hold on what's ahead.
