Simple, cheap and easy to use as well. You can get this harness conversion at WalMart, BB, CC or any good car audio shop for under $15.00. If the old stock harness was cut off and hardwired to the Sony HU, look closely at how the wires are now connected to the Sony HU. Make a list of the harness colors that come from the dash and what colors they mate to in the HU harness. That will be your guide. Swez fender_freak01 on 05/25/2004 22:30:29 thanks for all the help.....i give another post if there is any problems swez on 05/25/2004 22:44:38 Good luck and go slow OK! Haste makes waste!!! Swez ttocs on 05/26/2004 11:26:52 the color codes for the two deck should be the same, as well as the mounting. just disconnect one wire at a time and then hook up the same colored wire on the new deck. If the sony is or has been working properly there should be no problems Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
