where do u run the possitive cable in a 99 sonata from the battery and where the the car is there a hole or do i have to do some drillin

there should be a hole somewhere in the firewall that you could run the postive cable through, you just have to look good, if not, it might require drilling a hole, but if you do that, make sure to get a rubber grommet to put in the hole, so as the cable doesnt rub and cut on the metal.

That is the same car that I have. What I did is drill a hole in the firewall. If you are standing at the front of the car looking at the engine there is a spot on the top right corner of the fire wall. It has a little diamond shaped pull off piece of foam. If you take that off you can drill right there and there. In the same spot on the inside of the fire wall there is another piece of foam you can pull off.
