Does anybody have anything to say about the Avionixx 1200.2? Because I seen one on Ebay for $200. Its a refurb though...

Though I cannot speak personaly for the 1200.2 I do own an 800.2 and have used it for around a year and have loved every bit of it. I have had absolutely zero problems with it.

i'm one to believe that 1200 watts is 1200 watts, no matter what brand it is. i have been lucky so far. i have used very expensive, well-known brand amps and very low quality amps for various installs, and theydifferences in my experiences have always been very little. i would DEFINITELY check their return policy because it is a refurb. i'm always a little hasty to buy refurbished stuff.

bought the 1200.2 avionixx amp off ebay for 200$ refurbed i belive from the guy you are refering to i think his name was winketle or something like that. the amp came in working order and only had one small scratch on it that shows it was a refurb. i'm very impressed by it.

So Ill take your guys word for it. What about the ED 12's? Which ones would you suggest for this amp? Also, what about the infinity kappa 120.3 or the 12.1, which one is the better of the two? I want to keep it all the same as far as amp and subs, but if you have any other suggestions.....br

For that amp I would suggest either the ED 12Av21 that is soon to be released or two of there Ov2's that are also soon to be replaced. I have owned several of their subs and as with the Avionixx amps have yet to be dissapointed in the slightest bit with any of them.

i personaly like the avionix subs over the kappas but its more of a personal taste. you could run 2 kv2, 1 or 2 Ov2, or a single Av2 elemental designs sub off this amp. 2 15" Kv2 subs would match up nice to this amp and be very low cost only 200$ i would say if your looking at cost effectiveness that would be the best value for output.

also if you want to get a brand new amp for similar price elemental designs has there 1200.1 NIN amp on preorder fopr 250$
