I’m planning on buying a new HU and was looking at the pioneer premier DEH-P860MP and the pansonic CQ-C8400U. Does anyone have an opinion on these or recommend which one to buy?

the key to buying any HU is to make sure that first of all, you dont buy stuff your not going to use. the pioneer premier would be the better of the two in my opinion, it has a 13 band paremetric EQ compared to the 6 band of the panasonic, both panasonic and pioneer have decent HU's, both have 6 v pre-outs, but the premier has the non-fading bass option for the sub. the premier also has a 3-way crossover compared to panasonics two. but like i said before, dont buy an HU that has something your not going to use in the future...the two are pretty close in comparioson, aside from the EQ, so it really comes down to what you need.....
