i plan on getting this soon and was wondering what you guys think about it...or what do you think about the Clarion DXZ945MP

actualy i was just playing with one not 15 minutes ago at cartoys lol what are the odds... i liked it alot it looks nice seems to be easy to use. very nie display. plenty of rca outs. has some features that arnt really needed and probaly make the interface a little harder to get threw but other then that i liked it.

yes i was refering to the pioneer sorry. i do also own a clarion i dont remeber which one(its in the wifes car) it was last years model but it is very similar in features to the one you listed... both are very nice good quality HU's. the clarion in my opinion is a bit mroe confusing to us but then again i have been using a pioneer premier for 3 years so my judgment is a little off. basicaly i would say since both probaly have all the features you want/need. choose the one thats easiest for you to use. i had a sony for awhile in my wifes car and the thing drove me crazy hardest damn interface to figure out that i have ever seen. it had every feature i wanted in a HU but was a pain in the ass to use them on my pioneer takes me like 10 seconds to adjust the EQ and boost while driving, on the sony even after a year it would take me a good 3 minutes to get to the menu and change it and get back out of it.
i dont think either the pioneer or clarion would be that ahrd for you but just make sure you get the one that works best for you. and do this read threw all the features and see if one has a feature the other one doesnt that makes it worth having more to you.

no most likely not i have a deh-p640 and i dont use all the features on it myself. after a [point alot of the features are just for flash but some are nice. its really all about what you want and need.

i would say about 10% of features i see on that particular unit are just for fill. on thing i do like is the auto eq adjust feature seems it uses a microphone to set a perfectly flat eq depending on your cars acustics. seems like a nice feature. i honestly likethis model and if you want to take the time to learn them it has alot of nice features. although you could use a lesser model say a deh-p760 and still have all the features you really need for less money. i hope this helps a bit.
