I am doing an install on a 2001 Tacoma xtended cab..
he had some work done form a local audio shop and they installed a 8 guage wiring kit in his truck.
He now has a Lightning audio 2 channel 200w @ 2ohm amplifier with a Alpine 10" in a bandpass.
I am going to be adding some CDT componets and a JBL 180.2 amplifier.
would it be okay to run both amps on the 8 guage kit?

If both amps pull more than 45-50A of current, definitely upgrade power and grond wires to #4. This will give you ~100A of current carrying power and better sound to all amps/spkrs.
