ok i am thinking about getting kick pannels so i dont have to use the 4x6's...swez was telling me about a set of CDT but cant remember which ones they were...if anyone has experiance with usin kick pannels let me know how they work out.....and also i am thinking about getting 2 6x9's in seperate boxes to set on top of my sub box so i can have those instead of the 4x6 in the back. what do yall think of that idea?

i have a set of cdt-62ef speakers infact i just finaly got them hooked to an amp today and they where amazing speakers before they where amped now they are mind blowingly great. the cdt's swez probaly suggest where the ones found at www.thezeb.com they are the cl-61a speakers they are 150$ for a pair and they are great speakers... as for rear speaker 6x9's are not the best speakers a desent set of coaxil 6.5 or midrange drivers owuld get you better sound. i'm personaly using 6x8 coaxil for my rear fill but they are very limited quality.

well all i can get are 4x6's if i put them in the factory place unless i cut some stuff...or can the coaxil or midrange drivers be put in a box also?

yes they can be put in an enclosure. you could also mount 4" speake4rs in the rear wholes or maybe even 5 1/4s i monthed 6.5 inch speakers in my 6x8 spots alls you need to do is fabricate a baffle to mount them on. really 4x6's arnt any better then 6x9's in my opinion just one gets better low end... having nice componenets in the front and then 4x6's or 6x9's in the rear even for reear fill is going to affect the sq of th3e whole system. like i said i have 6x8's for rear fill and i dont like it at all i fade it all to the front alot.

well what would go good along with the CDT-61's...also what would be a good amp to power these and the 2 rear speakers? and 2 shivas
are you in the chat room?

matters what type of a system yoou are after if its an sq system i would sugest some decent 5.25 speakers or another set of comps if you jjsut want booming 6x9s well be ok if you jut want good sound you can find a good set of 4x6's if you just want it decent i'm in chat room

The boxed 6x9's will work, but you will get better overall performance from a round cone speaker design. Can use 5.25" or 6.5" Coaxials or just midbass drivers in the rear. This is more of a preference deal. Some like full range in rear... (I do) while others prefer midbass only. Up to you.

A plate design is also a good option if you want to keep things small. There are several makers out there that use plate designs that employ a good 4" mid and 1" tweeter. Making a box for them and mounting to your sub enclosure is an option. Employing a wedge design that allows the speakers to fire upward (rather than to back of your seats) is a good idea. Better full range clarity if they fire upward toward the headliner.

we talked for a bit in chat and since he wants clarity he has decied on either a midrange driver he liked the CDT CL-5. or a full range driver. i belive i showed him the 5.25 ma audios at parts express.
