This thing has the ability to update the graphics to customize it a bit (or so I understand) however I cannot seem to find any instructions on the web on how to do it. Anyone here have any clue?

are you sure you have the model number right? i cannot find anything on pioneers website about it. only an ahv-P4990DVD

i see what your saying, have you looked through the manual to see if it helps you out? for 2700 bucks, they ought to tell you.

better rotate my tires for that price. Nice deck in all seriousness. I have not worked with them but i am suprised they do not have it anywhere. That would definitly be a neat feature. Do you have the manual? Where did you hear that you could update it?

The manual doesn't say much about anything really. Pretty much how to use the basic functions is about it. I was reading through some forums though and people were discussing the difficulties that they were having in getting the HU to save their custom graphics. The response came out to being that the early versions of it did not save the graphic and that the later versions did. However they did not say how to upload the graphic.
