I was scrumaging around and i found my old HU that was in my truck before, it was an old sony, since the one that i have now is sony, all i had to do was plug it in, then after that....voila! my dash and rear speakers starting working again and the humming was gone, so, needless ot say, i think my other HU is fried, just thought you'd like to know you were right swez.CLAPGRIN

Hey.. that is good news Tinker. Looks like the HU was damaged afterall.
Am not always right either... depends on the details we get, the willingness of the poster to follow up on suggestions and good feedback when successful or not.

PS As Rush Limbaugh would say... "With talent on loan from God" and I am not sure on this one... but I think God is big into high end audio. Afterall, He created thunder, earthquakes, volcanos and the like right? SMILE THINK
