Well i recieved my Avionixx 1200.s AXT amplifier today. since noone else here has used one yet as far as i know. i figured i would post a bit of a review on it. i havent hooked it upo yet but i cracked open the case and it is all very nice compoenents and all the inputs are very nice terminal... also has a very self explanatory dial system unlike soem iother amsp i have used that where confusing gain goes from .15 volts to 6.0 volts very broad spectrum nice. also has one nice ferature i was not expecting on the bass boost it has an 18db adjustment but it allso has a dial so you can adjust where your getting your boost at. this is the first amp i personaly have used that ahs this option and that impresses me. i well post again as soon as i get it hooked up and let you knwo how she runs. Replies (2) swez on 05/1/2004 09:04:48 I'd like to hear your comments on the performance of this amp brand as well. Avionixx has been mentioned here regularly, but to my knowledge, nobody has one to actually comment or compare it to other amps of similar power, performance and price. Is this a Class T or A/B amp and is stable at 1 or 2 ohm loads? Looks like a 2 channel model here.. have a link to Avionixx products? Swez uochronos on 05/1/2004 14:50:10 the web site for it is http://www.avionixxusa.com/ep/axt_12002.htm it is a 2 channel amp so it is 4 ohm stable when bridged and 2 ohm stable for each channel when not. and it is the class T model. my only complaint with install so far is that it has no on board fuse so i must wire one in to it... i aske d avionixx and they said 100amp fuse is recomended which impresses me further of the class T design because this amp nets 1200watts RMS at 12.6 volts with only 100amps... i do plan to have this amp tested also to see how many watts it is putting out.
